The City of Point Arena proposes to acquire two parcels near the Point Arena pier and wharf complex to provide safe public access to the beach and tide pools, while restoring and protecting the natural resources within. The proposed land uses will include public beach access, park land, and boat parking.  The land acquisition will accomplish actions cited in the Point Arena Mountain Beaver Recovery Plan as necessary for downlisting and recovery of the species.
