The Schooner Gulch Protective Betterment Project proposes to re-align a two-lane segment of State Route 1 in Mendocino County, upslope and away from eroding coastal bluffs.  Also removing an existing acro-bridge presently spanning a failed portion of the southbound lane.  

Construction date 2004-2005.
